I am using triple 7 pellets in my American Knight. I am looking for input on the best amount of powder an weight of bullet in general and up to 150yards.

Just incase someone else would like to hear a response to my question, (since I didn't receive any input at all) through trial and error and a small investment in bullets, pellets, primers and time this is what I came up with. 245 grain .50 caliber power belt copper hollow points with 3 triple 7 pellets (150 grains) and 209 CCI shot shell primers. Hope this helps someone in the same situation and save some time and money.

I believe a lot of the Knight crew has been out of the office hunting. I know they have terrible reception at their location. The triple 7 with a 150 grains of powder with a 250 grain red hot bullet is what I shoot. It is a very consistent load and I feel comfortable over 200 yards making a shot. Good luck on your hunt!

Thank You, Mr. Landsgard. Sounds like we had similar results in our endeavors. And actually the same load works just as well in my sons CVA. We may have found a good starting point for future endeavors. Good stuff! That's what makes these forums a good thing. Thanks again, and Merry Christmas!
