I believe you can shoot that bullet with those sabots very effectively from a 1-30 twist. I am not sure what the powder load might be but would guess 100 grains of BH would work very well.a1smokepole wrote:Has anyone used this bullet in a mmp .355 .357 blue sabot shot in a knight 45cal 1-30 twist with BH209
Here a couple of threads, where I have shot that bullet from a 1-20 twist 45. But when you read these keep in my mind I was trying to make things fail. The second thread does not have any information about that particular bullet, but offers some other thoughts.

will went to the range today shot the .357 158gr in blue mmp .355-.357 sabot at 50yds did very good with 90 gr BH209 and up to 110gr all rounds were touching at 50yds but 100yds with 90gr to 110gr there was 6in to 7in groups with the wind blowing at 7mph and I liked this it was very low recoil this was just for paper shooting I would not hunt with this round have 75 more to shot up may try 80gr and under next outing at 50yds
