First thing I shot out of my NIB disc extreme this morning. 250gr. black sabot. Second three shot group in brand new barrel was 1". No idea what it will do on game, but i plan to find out in a week. BTW I used a 90gr 777 charge and cci Ml209s. No chrono.

My son 9, used an Knight Youth Wolverein .50 with 80 grns 777 and 250 shockwave, win 209 primer, at 60 yds, small 8pt humped up and ran 50 yds, then expired.
I have shot several deer out to 100 yds with 100 grn 777 and 250 shockwave out of my Bighorn .50.
This bullet expands nicely, does a lot of internal damage from what I have seen.
It did not drop them in their tracks, all of my shots were broadside though the lungs 100 yds or less.
I can not complain.
Shoots 1" 100 yds.

Regular Shockwaves are the same as a Hornady SST or FTX with a different color tip. You can buy the SST/FTXs in bulk 50packs without sabots.
Green Mountain 54-120 Brush Gun
Elite 45 blued
Original DISC 45 SS
LRH 52cal

I've shot a good amount of deer & a few coyotes with SSTs & Shockwaves. They don't give a pretty mushroom like a Barnes, but if you put it in the right spot, they do fine. They are also very accurate out of my Knight. I usually shoot 115 grains of B209 hunting. I chronied some loads & got a very steady 1950 fps with 120 grns of B209, 250 grn SST.
