Got these two 10 minutes apart during Missouri muzzleloader season. .50 cal. 115g. Blackhorn, 250 Barnes Spitfire . Doe was taken at 143yds. Buck was taken at 157yds.

Thanks, quality of the pictures are really bad.....thats a whole another story. I had been watching this buck all season. I got him on trail camera numerous times. Had a chance at him during the archery season, but the shot was 45yds. and it didn't feel right so i passed him up hoping I would get another chance at him. I seen him again during the rifle season but he was over 600 yds away. Never seen him again until late evening Dec.20th when I was about to go and collect the doe I had gotten just minutes earlier. (Glad I took one more look around!)The buck isn't the biggest I have ever taken but he is a very special one to me.

Nice Buck! That doe looks huge too! All of our does round here seem to be around 100lbs max. Acorns are looking good this year though so maybe they will fatten up.
