I want to switch to a bare primer setup for my 50 caliber knight Master hunter which one should I buy? will the one for the disc extreme work?

Yes the one for the disc extreme will work with the bare primer bolt. your gun takes the orange disc wright.

Disc setup will work. Get the M900615V kit. Comes with breech plug and insert for the bolt to accommodate the bare 209 primer. Or you can get the M900608 kit that comes with breech plug and the bolt handle that's got the slot in it for the bare 209 primer. Easier setup and you don't have to keep up with insert.

Knight no longer offers the M900615V conversion kit. They only offer the kit with the bare primer bolt now.

If I buy the bolt and breech plug will it be ok for BH-209 powder as with the red disk plastic I was getting misfires with BH-209

$25 to ship?....Wow thats steep for that amount of parts. Be prepared to replace your plug after 100 or so shots too. Those braised in vent liners wear fast when shooting BH209. For that amount of money you could have bought a Bestill bushing plug and a true Lehigh plug with the NFPJ adapter.

The part was $119.00 plus $6.00 shipping I read that that part was listed as $99.00 Knight seems to be raising all their prices. I have ordered a new Lehigh breech plug for my mountaineer from Besthill I didn't know besthill had one for my mountaineer but I still would need the bolt that comes with the conversion.

has come out with a new breech plug for all bare primer bolt guns that use bare primers it's supposed to eliminate all the problems associated with the knight plugs such as sticking primers and they have a replaceable vent liner

If i go to order the Bare 209 conversion with the part# you listed off the website. I get just under $107 shipped. The Mountaineer bare primer conversion is $119 plus shipping.

Actually the Lehigh NFPJ bolt adapter should fit a Mountaineer FPJ bolt too. The old Lehigh plug is just too short for a Mountaineer. The old plugs were only for Elites/Extremes or converted DISC Originals.
