Took the new Mountaineer and Leupold U-slam scope to the farm for its first workout... It passed.
Next trip was to the Little Boulder Rock Pit... again it worked very well
I did make up a capper for it when hunting in cold weather - to help get the primer in the rails of the bolt. Pretty simple but works very well.

good shooting there sabot do you just live the capper in when you shot

Oh heck no! you just pull forward on the leather and the primer is left in the rails of the nose of the bolt.a1smokepole wrote:good shooting there sabot do you just live the capper in when you shot

That is some real nice shooting there Sabotloader. I like the looks of the rifle as well. That should make a sweet hunting rifle for you. As well as a great way to spend the day on the target range.
