Good starting point for Zero.

I am going to zero my new Mountaineer. Going to use BH209 with Hornaday "Low Drag" 250 gr saboted bullet. Any ideas on how many grams of powder to start?

Well. i would not be using GRAMS, I would be using grains by volume unless you have a scale. Roughly 90GRAINS by volume would be a good start or 60GRAINS by weight. You could go higher but 110GRAINS of Blackhorn is more than enough for a max load in most guns.

You may want to swap out those sabots and just use the SST bullets. The low drag sabots are made for tight bores and BH209 is more reliable with a snug sabot.
