Just received my Left Hand Thumbhole stock Mountaineer today. Cant wait to shoot it. Have many Knight muzzleloaders and have a LRH that has been my favorite for some time but I think this one will give it a run for the money! Hope you all have been out shooting!!

hi Squeeze, GREAT to see another Lefty!! I absolutely love the feel of this gun! The bolt is still on the right side but the safety is on the left side. I have 2 LRH set up the same way. The only thing I don't like about the left hand setup is I still get a little blow by in the face when firing. I have since went to bare primer breech plug, changed primer and have never shot better. Zero blow by with this set up on mine. My LRH and disk extremes are straight stock. I have to shoot left hand because of loss of eye. My new left hand Mountaineer has the bare primer breech plug in it also. I just finished floating the barrel and lapping the scope rings. Cant wait to shoot it.
