disc extreme project

Post by toddr1 » September 7th, 2013, 3:37 pm

Thinking about building a disc extreme to be set up for Colorado. I have a stock from another extreme that I bought before Knight closed. I'd like to get a barrel kit but I have some questions

1. Will the new barrel fit the older stock?
2. The barrel kits don't include a bolt or a trigger. Will a Mountaineer bolt fit the extreme barrel?if so, how can I order one from Knight?
3. Where can I get a trigger assembly?

Any help is greatly appreciated

I just updated my original Knight DISC to a DISK Extreme. Just call : 1-866-518-4181
during the weekday / business hours , they are very helpful about what is needed to upgrade.
I needed the DISC Extreme conversion kit http://www.knightrifles.com/disc-extrem ... rsion-kit/
Check the barrel for pits or rust, but you should be able to shoot it as an extreme with just the
conversion kit if its the original Knight DISC.
I also purchased the Primer Conversion http://www.knightrifles.com/bare-209-pr ... rsion-kit/
to use a bare 209 instead of the plastic caps.
Shoots extremely well with sabot and 2 x 50 grain pellets . Within 1 inch at 50 yards.
Will be testing the Blackhorn 209 powder and round balls this next week , report
to come soon!

You may have to grind in the lug spot the old extreme has just a block for a lug the new one has a forked lug and you can order the bolt and trigger from knight. you can call to see what will fit.
