I'd be willing to bet that finding that gun in that configuration would be like finding a needle in a haystack, or maybe 2 haystacks.

Another option would be a Littlehorn, but I don't think they make it in .45. You could always use a lighter .40cal bullet in a .50 cal sabot, and maybe .40gr - .50gr powder to get the kid started. Or if you don't want to spend the money to go new, pick up an LK-93 or Wolverine, and trim the stock down to fit em. You can usually find them for pretty cheap in good shape. MK85s in 45cal are insanely rare. Ive seen one for sale in over 3 years and they wanted a small fortune for it on Gunbroker. You could achieve the same goal with a new Knight Little Horn and some 200-225gr bullets like the 45LC 225gr FTX or Barnes XPB. Both expand reliably at mild load levels and reasonable ranges.

I just got a MK85 in .45 cal. ! It has the wood stock,and is in the orig. box and best of all - ITS NEVER BEEN SHOT !!!
IT has everything except the Owners Manual . Pristine Styrofoam , orig. plastic bag with all the parts, and I say again : it's never been fired !
You read that sometimes and it's seldom true - , but the old feller that sold me this gun was so grieved that he never got around to shoot it .
It's MINT -..., flawless , and totally brand new .....and did I mention it's a .45 caliber ?
