Just wondering what loads Mountaineer owners are using & what kind of accuracy you get?

I have mostly the older Knights. The load for my 50 cal is 120 grains of B209, a CCIM primer & a 250 grn SST.

My 45 cal load is 110 grains of B209 same primer & a 200 grn SST. I do plan to use the 195 grn Barnes bullet this Fall in my 45 cal Elite. The SSTs & Shockwaves have always worked well for me & I have a bunch, but want to do some testing of the Barnes bullets.

Thanks for your response. I'm hoping to get some Mountaineer shooters to share some info as well :)

I'd be looking to Blackhorn 209 powder, that's for sure.

My Mountaineer likes 100gr Blackhorn 209-250gr Barnes Bullet-Harvester Red Sabot-Winchester 209 Primer. Half the fun is figuring out what your's likes.
