Knight ULite Shooting-Testing
Today was another testing day of sorts... I have never - ever trusted Quick Release Scope Mounts to maintain zero once removed and replaced. Well, I did that today, I removed the NECG Peep sight from the Warne (Weaver) scope block and replaced it with the scope. The scope had been sighted in some ti...

Pacific Northwest Shooting
I have been wanting to go get some shooting for the last couple of days but the weather has not cooperated much at all. As many of you know in the PacNorthwest during ML season we must shoot with open sights. I am preparing this rifle for both rifle and ML season. I needed to re-sight my Ultra-Lite ...

Re: Ultra-Lite Velocity Testing
I just ran the ballistic sheets for the shots today. I did not run separate sheets for the T7-3f loads as they would be very close to the 2f loads. Also did not run the 110 grain BH loads as they too would be very close. The sheets also have 6" PBR computed into them. http://img.photobucket.com/albu...

Ultra-Lite Velocity Testing
Got time this morning to run to the farm to get another round of shooting in. When I got there I almost did not think I was going to get to shoot. The dang farmer was there hooking up equipment to go do some farming. Couldn't believe he would want to farm the farm when I wanted to shoot! Marty is a ...

Rock Pit Shooting...
Made another shooting trip today. It rained pretty decently last night, so I figured the farm would be muddy, so I headed to the Rock Pit. This time of the year I really do not like going to the Rock Pit, one because of the nice day somebody might already be there and two- the trash in the pit. It j...

Western Ultra Lite @ the Farm
We were having one of those early spring days this morning... and I really wanted to shoot this new rifle. It was kind of cool, right around freezing, spitting snow on and off - then bright sun for awhile and back to snow. Thought might as well try - so grabbed the new Ultra-Lite and headed to the f...

Western Legal - Knight Ultra-Lite
It is going to happen... finally! I have been waiting for several weeks for Knight to make a modification to the Ultra-Lite that I ordered. I really wanted this light weight gun for hunting here in the west. And because of our ML rules I have to use open sights and cap ignition during the ML portion...

It was no Contest - but a fun day
Finally got some extra time today - so I decided to head to the farm. I am in the middle of testing a new bullet and really wanted to get some chrono numbers for the bullet and the load I was using. Accuracy is no longer a concern, I have shot the bullet from 4 different rifles and acuracy is not a ...
