I would like to get all the info on this muzzlerloader as I can.
Stuff like the Year when they stop production on this model?
If all the Original parts are still available or let's say can
you still get the original Breech Plug or can some
one steer me in the wright direction on getting the correct
new part with a new replacement part #. Thing like "who has the best
luck firing what powder and grain bullet to use. Being new at muzzlerloading
and owning this gun and I know that there are other out there who would
like info on this gun. So if there are some owner of the American ;) Knight Black Knight BK-92
or other folk who has some Knowledge they would care to share, I sure would Appreciate all
the help I can get.
Thanks, blackmanpowder1 :)

Blackmanpowder1,
I have this rifle and absolutely love it. I would rather hunt with it than any other rifle that I have. Mine is a .50 caliber. I have experimented with all sorts of powder and sabot combinations. Mine loves the 250 gr. Hornady SST ML over 100gr. of 777 loose. It is a very accurate load and will shoot sub MOA consistently at 100 yds. It will put the smackdown on a deer. I did convert mine to the 209 igniton system. Even with the #11 system it performed flawlessly. I just like the extra spark. I added a Burris Fastfire II 3x-9x 32mm scope with the 3p4 reticle. Below is a link to the owners manual. It will help for parts. I have called knight and everything on the gun can be purchased. They have a smith his name is Sam and he is a wealth on knowledge about the rifle. I called them looking for sling swivel studs for my rifle and they sent them to me for free. Give him a call with any questions he is great. The cleaning process is involved but gets easier with repitition. I love to break it down. It stays spotless. I even dissasemble the ignition system every time I clean it, probably a little overkill but I hate a dirty weapon. If you have any questions let me know will be glad to help if I can.

Gecko,

I see you posted that you use 777 in your BK92.

You also said you use 209 primer, do yuo know does 777 loose work with #11 caps reliably?

Thanks for your help.

Loose 777 ignites reliably with #11 caps no problem in my bk.

bought mine new way back. killed many deer with it and it shoots most anything well. i have used the power belts and accuracey is pretty good but the bullets i have recovered have blown quite a bit and blood trails were not great. never lost a deer though. i now like and swear by the barnes 250 gr xpanders. shoots great with 90 grains rs pyrodex. do the work and clean the gun the way it should be done and it will make you happy. i wont ever part with mine.

I have a BK92 and want to convert to the 209 ignition. My #11 breech plug has threads all the way to the end and all conversion kits I've seen do are not threaded to the end. Do any of you know if this will matter?

I also have a Black Knight in .54 cal, shot many deer with gun, using Barnes, 90 gr. 777, I have also upgraded the igntion system to the 209 primer, used to shoot the Powerbelt, had a few bad experiences using them and switched to Barnes
