I hunt with a 45 caliber and recently got some Barnes MZ 195 grain bullets. The bullets has wonderful bulks tics, but seems a little light for deer. Can anyone give me some informed opinion of the use of this bullet for whitetail? Thanks

I shot 2 deer last season with the 195 grn Barnes out of my 45 cal, DRT one shot. They chrony at just over 2200 FPS with 110 grains of B209. That's more than enough to get it done.

I like the crush rib sabot instead of the ones from Barnes, a tad easier to slide down the bore.
