Optic Choices

Will a Weaver style or Picatinny style mounting base work on a Knight Mountaineer?
I would like to mount a Burris Eliminator (original) on my new Mountaineer?
Might sound like an over kill, however, I use this weapon system full season.
My goal is to lessen the chance of wounding or worse case loosing an animal.

Im not aware of a one piece rail for Knights. They do however use the same 2 piece bases as a Rem 541.
I have heard these fit but i have never tried them myself

I just cancelled my order for the new rifle. Here's what I received from the "owner" of Knight regarding a problem I had with the order. I'm now a "cyber bully" because I posted my opinion of a conversation I had with Knight customer service this morning. They messaged me yesterday and told me to call customer service. I did as instructed.
They told you correctly. We can't change an order received through a dealer unless the dealer changes the order. My suggestion to you would be to cancel your Knight order with Sportsman's Guide and go buy a CVA or some other POS. We don't want crybullies in the Knight Nation.
