what size scope with these rings

Stainless Steel Knight Quick Detachable scope rings #900770.......will a 40 mm scope be good or should i get a 32mm....been looking for these rings and found them on e-bay i don't know much about them...low/med/high, they shipped i've been checking the mail lol.....thanks for any info....ed
