LK-II 209 plug

I got a 209 breech plug for my LK-II, will I need a new bolt ass. or will the old bolt from the cap style work.

Look at the nose of your current hammer. Does it have a Cone looking firing pin built onto the nose? If it has that you are off the to the races... If it does not you will have to get a 209 hammer for it.

I just checked it out and it doesn't have the dome, I might just keep it that way for now.

I would have never said this a few years back, but today with the percussion guns I would just shoot caps. Of course today i am a whole lot more confident about what I am doing also. I have left both the MK and the 52 Big Horn as cap guns, I really enjoy shooting them that way ta boot!

Still have not changed the White back to a cap yet though....

I'll just leave it that way, with T-7 or RS it'll be fine.
