Non-Sabot Bullets
Does anyone here have recommendations for non-sabot, 350+ grain lead bullets for a .50 cal Disc Extreme? I was considering the TC maxi-ball (370 grain).

Try the Barnes FPB or

You might have to experiment with the powder to see what it likes. Good Luck!

Ummm Barnes does not make the FPB. Hornady sells a 300gr and a 350gr FPB

Re: Non-Sabot Bullets
Thank you, I will give those a try. I did try the 370 grain TC Maxi-Ball but had not luck with three different loads (90/100/110), triple-7, 3f. Could not get anything that even resembled a group.
Thanks again...

Re: Non-Sabot Bullets
Give the No Excuses conicals a try. The 50 cal 460 grain bullet should do the trick.
They're at http://www.muzzleloading-bullets.com .
Usually 80-90 grains of powder will give you best groups.
If you push them too hard your groups will open up.
