NMLRA In-Line match results
I wonder how much Blackhorn209 Mark needed to get the 275gr BE to stabilize in a 45cal 1-30 twist.

Re: NMLRA In-Line match results
So, mountaineers and discs, but not so much the bighorn? So is the take-away that the bolt-action style must be inherently more accurate that the plunger type? I'm trying to decide between a bighorn and a western-action mountaineer. It would be for hunting Idaho, with full caliber all lead projectiles. Any advice?

You will benefit more from a 1:20, especially for longer ranges with heavier conicals.
Check out Buffalo Arms Co. in Idaho. Dave offers some heavy conicals in 45 under the 'reloading supply sec., under - lead, copper & jacketed bullets'.
You can call and buy a box of 50 to try for around $30.
