Could someone recommend an accurate starter load for ultralite .50 caliber using Blackhorn powder and 300 gr Thor conical? I am hunting mule deer in mountain terrain and the few opportunities will likely be long range shots.

start at 80gr and go up 10gr at a time and you will start to see it open your groups up.3 or 4 shoot. our you get to 120gr and shoots fine. you have to see what your gun likes.
