The breech plug in the Knight Disc Extreme conversion kit, is that the vented breech plug or regular breech plug? Which one would I use for shooting BH209? Or am I better off using the Bare 209 primer breech plug?

It is the non vented one and both can be used to shoot BH209. I would recommend the RPJ cause of the weatherproof it offers.

I would go with this plug and a winchester W209 primer. us this plug on all my knight and works great.

So would it and without a 2nd thought about it. The RPJ is no where near as dependable with BH209.

You can call in and ask for a M900608 conversion kit. Which has a bare primer bolt handle and a bare primer breech plug for the disc. This kit will eliminate using that adapter that comes with the other conversion. It is not online but we do offer this kit. You just have to call in to customer service.

So the M900608 kit is similar to the Mountaineer bolt assembly?...I have plenty of Lehigh bare primer plugs but i could use a bare primer bolt.

The bolts are nearly identical just cosmetic features are different. The breech plugs are different. Mountineer is longer than the Disc Extreme plug.

That good to no have to keep that in mind next time I need one or help someone. knight needs to update there web so people can keep up with the new stuff.
