Best rate of twist for custom barrel

Sabot shooter only in 50 caliber, short 20 inch barrel. Need to know best twist rate to have put in barrel. Several options available.

You would do best with a faster twist barrel, In the fifty I would go with a 1 in 24 or 22. This will allow you to shoot longer bullets at longer ranges.

A 20" barrel would not be my choice for longer ranges. It would make a fine brush gun. I shoot upto 385gr bullets in a 1-28 20". I cant imagine how a faster twist would help much for this application.
