What is the exact inside diameter of a 52 cal LRH and why are 52 cal bullets .458 and .475.

Inside bore diameter would be .520 +- .001. The reason you see the bullets being .458 and .475 is by adding a sabot and choosing the correct one, you can shoot these bullets out of a .50 caliber or a .52 with the correct sabot selection.

Thank you Knightrider So thecnically speaking i could use Knight silver or magenta 52cal sabots.While using a 325gr. .458 Hornant ftx or a 300gr.Barnes mz expander.

Silver sabots are for shooting a .458" bullet in a .52 caliber. Magenta sabots are for shooting a .475" bullet in a .52 caliber.
