Re: hey guys whats the best bullet?
for one thing 150gr is to much for powerbelts around 90gr are 100max it blows the bases on the bullets
Re: hey guys whats the best bullet?
I had excellent accuracy with the power belts at 100 and 110gr, that as with the newer aero tips. I would not go any higher in powder charge.
Re: hey guys whats the best bullet?
I have found that the New Knight Blood Line in 250 or 300 grains works best with Knight Rifles. My guns like 90 to 110 in 777 FF or Blackhorn 209. The Powerbelts work better in that Off Brand CVA. The Barns 250 is a good one to try too.
Re: hey guys whats the best bullet?
Thank you very much for your input im off to the range..100grns. max it is!!
Re: hey guys whats the best bullet?
I struggled with getting my inherited Master Hunter Extreme 0.45 cal to hit well until I tried PR Bullet's QT. I started with 777 FF 100 gr. and worked up 10 grain increments until it grouped well. Goog luck.

290 grain BTHP that Knight sales on their site. My MHDE is a tack driver at 100 years. I'm using 120 grains of BH209.

Re: hey guys whats the best bullet?
I recently took 2 more anterless deer on a Jan deer hunt, with my 45 cal Knight. I was using a 200 grn Hornady SST, I've also used the 250 grn bullet a bunch in my 50 cal. One deer went right down, the 2nd maybe 5'. I will admit the Barnes copper bullet usually has a prettier mushroom than an SST. The point is it all starts with bullet placement. The SSTs have usually shot very well in my Knights. My charge was 110 grns of B209 with a CCIM primer. Hit a deer in the 'boiler room' & stand by to field dress.

Ditch the power belts if you are shooting a Knight.you shod try the Barns Mz or the new Bloodline from Knight.
