conical bullets
Re: conical bullets
I have a Lee mold for a 320 grn 'REAL' M-L conical. They shot well & I took one deer with one. I just did a quick sight-in at 50 yrds, no extensive testing. The one thing to keep in mind is to make sure the bullet stays tight against the powder charge. You can tell a little by how it goes in. You don't want the bullet to lift off a few inches due to gun handling or whatever. I would check mine at times just to make sure it wasn't lifting off. For east of use I went back to a sabot, though a conical would work.
