lk II 2f or 3f whats the difference
I'm new to muzzleloading i bought this lkII it has a #11 cap breech plug going to use loose pyrodex and most likely barns expanders but not sure about 2f or 3f whats the difference
Re: lk II 2f or 3f whats the difference
3F would be a finer(smaller grained) powder, possibly more suitable to handguns. Not saying it wouldn't work in a rifle. I think it goes down to 4f, which is used to prime the 'frizzen' in a flintlock. 3f may be fine for a rifle, it may be that 4f is only for priming. Some googling should answer the rest.
