I recently purchased a never shot Knight muzzleloader from my brother in law. Problem is, I don't know what kind it is so I do not know whether to buy the orange original discs for my primer or the red full plastic jackets. What I do know is that it is a 50 cal muzzle loader with a pull type cocking mechanism and a synthetic stock. The tag on the trigger says Knight USAK American Knight Muzzleloader. Can someone tell what my gun is and how to determine which primer casing to purchase?

Go to Knights website and look at the breach plugs. It will have a plug made for 209 primers in a Red Plastic Jacket or a plug made for #11 or Musket caps.
