Re: Safety Warning for Bighorn 50 cal
Not surprising a loose trigger assembly can lead to a unintentional discharge. I doubt Knight's Bighorn is the only example in which it can occur.

Re: Disc Exreme & BH209
If you are going to us Bh209 you need this plug. http://www.knightrifles.com/bare-209-primer-conversion-kit/ this will stop your misfires. and what primer are you using. try using triple 7 shoots hotter WRONG Blackhorn209 is the most energetic black powder substitute on the market. Re: Optic Choices
Im not aware of a one piece rail for Knights. They do however use the same 2 piece bases as a Rem 541. I have heard these fit but i have never tried them myself https://www.murphyprecision.com/Products/Item/1018 http://www.egwguns.com/index.php?p=product&id=1275 http://swfa.com/EGW-Picatinny-Rail-1-...

I called them and they acted like they had NO IDEA what I was talking about. Called twice talked to two different people. I SO wanted a 1:20 twist... :( Better hurry then. As of right now there is only one left at Ed's. Brand new in the box Mountaineer 45 1-20 with a shadow grey laminate thumb hole...

Re: Recieved New Rifle
No paper patch. Just a Parker 275 BE sized to fit my bore and a .060 fiber wad over the powder. Its the same load Mark Miller used in his 1-30 at Friendships Inline match not long ago. Sabotless is really easy if you get an adjustable sizing die from Swinglock. I also shoot .451 lead conicals from 3...

Re: Recieved New Rifle
2200fps with 100gr of BH209?
Thats quite a bit higher than typical. Ive been shooting Knight 45s for years with Blackhorn209. I don't shoot sabots much anymore though. Parker bullets sized to my bore shot sabotless are amazingly accurate.

Re: MOUNTAINEER BREECH PLUG - CCI 209M PRIMERS
Its a fairly common issue with any bolt gun that uses a primer carrier in the bolt nose. You may want to try a Fed209A. They are slightly longer than a CCI. They all do it in my Knights with the 209 bare primer conversion except the Win209. They are flawless in every respect. No need for mag primers...
